Complete Wardrobes for
The Groom

A wedding is not one outfit, it is a sequence, and the mistake we correct most often is planning them one at a time. Outfits chosen separately tend to repeat themselves: three jewel-tone jackets, or two looks that photograph almost identically across different days of the same album.

We plan the wardrobe as a set instead. Haldi and Mehendi go light and breathable, the sangeet takes structure that still allows movement, the ceremony stays traditional to your family's custom, and the reception carries the most weight in fabric and construction. Each function gets a distinct register while sharing a design language, so the album reads as one wedding rather than several.

Timelines stack rather than run in parallel, particularly where hand embroidery is involved. A full multi-function wardrobe wants four to five months; a single suit or tuxedo needs two to three weeks. Starting with the ceremony piece, usually the longest lead, and building outward is how we keep a large commission from compressing into a rush at the end.

The Art of Cloth: Fabric Glossary

A bespoke garment is only as exceptional as the cloth it is cut from, and the right choice changes by occasion, not just by taste. Here is a brief guide to the luxury weaves and finishes we offer, and which ceremony each one suits best.

Pure Silk & Brocade

The gold standard for wedding sherwanis. Known for its natural sheen and structured drape, silk brocade is often interwoven with gold or silver zarian threads for a royal aesthetic.

Best for: Muhurtham, Sherwani ceremonies

Super 120s to 150s Wool

Premium Italian wool ideal for bespoke suits and tuxedos. The "Super" number indicates the fineness of the yarn. Higher numbers mean a softer, more luxurious drape perfect for evening wear.

Best for: Reception, Sangeet suits

Raw Silk & Matka

Characterized by its textured, slightly nubby surface, raw silk offers a rich, matte finish. It is highly preferred for Indo-Westerns and Jodhpuris for a sophisticated, non-shiny look.

Best for: Baraat, Sangeet, Indo-Western looks

Velvet

A plush, heavy fabric that catches light beautifully. Used predominantly for regal reception tuxedos, statement blazers, or intricate hand-embroidered collars and cuffs.

Best for: Reception, evening functions

Cotton & Linen

Breathable and lightweight, these fabrics are built for daytime heat and long hours of movement rather than sheen or weight. Unlike silk or velvet, they stay comfortable through a full ceremony in direct sun.

Best for: Haldi, Mehendi kurtas

The Process

How Your Wedding Wear Comes to Life

01

Consultation

A direct sitting with founder Chirag Parmar to plan the full function calendar as one wardrobe, not one outfit at a time.

02

Wardrobe Planning

Haldi and Mehendi go light, the sangeet takes structure with movement, the ceremony stays traditional, the reception carries the most weight.

03

Precise Measurements

A pattern drafted from roughly 20 to 25 measurements once, then carried across every piece so the fit stays consistent.

04

Sequenced Delivery

The ceremony piece starts first as the longest lead time, then the rest builds outward. Four to five months for a full wardrobe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we specialize in curating end-to-end bespoke wardrobes for grooms, covering outfits for haldi, mehendi, sangeet, the wedding ceremony and the reception. A wedding is not one outfit, it is a sequence, and the mistake we correct most often is planning them one at a time, since outfits chosen separately tend to repeat themselves, three jewel-tone jackets, or two looks that photograph almost identically across different days of the same album. We plan the wardrobe as a set instead: haldi and mehendi go light and breathable, the sangeet takes structure that still allows movement, the ceremony stays traditional to your family's custom, and the reception carries the most weight in fabric and construction, so the album reads as one wedding rather than several.

Timelines stack rather than run in parallel, particularly where hand embroidery is involved. A full multi-function wardrobe wants four to five months, while a single suit or tuxedo needs two to three weeks on its own. We recommend beginning the consultation within that four-to-five-month window if the plan covers the full function calendar, and starting with the ceremony piece, usually the longest lead time, before building outward to the lighter functions. For a single outfit rather than a full wardrobe, one to two months ahead gives a comfortable runway for fabric selection, any embroidery, and at least one trial fitting without compressing into a rush near the wedding date.

Absolutely. We regularly coordinate the groom's fabric colours, embroidery motifs and accents to complement the bride's wedding attire, working from a swatch, reference photo or the bride's own outfit details where they are available. This usually comes up for the ceremony and reception looks specifically, where a shared colour family or an echoed embroidery motif across the couple's outfits reads well in photographs without requiring an identical match. Coordination is discussed at the consultation alongside the groom's own fabric and silhouette choices, so the final outfit still fits the groom's build and preferences rather than being designed purely around the bride's attire.

Yes, a bespoke groom look is incomplete without accessories, and we assist in customizing safas and turbans, mojaris and other footwear, pocket squares, lapel pins and dupattas to complete each function's outfit. Accessories are planned alongside the wardrobe as a whole rather than as an afterthought, since a safa or mojari chosen separately can clash with an embroidery motif or a fabric's undertone, particularly across a multi-function wardrobe where several outfits need to read as a coordinated set. For evening functions in particular we also advise on jewellery weight, so a heavy mala does not visually compete with dense collar or lapel embroidery.
