Why Do Structured Jackets Fail on a DJ Night?
This is the one function where the outfit is tested physically for hours. A heavily structured, full-canvas jacket is built to hold a line while standing, and that is exactly the wrong property on a dance floor: it binds at the armhole, traps heat, and creases in the places that show. The solution is not a looser jacket but a better-cut one.

How Is It Different From a Sangeet?
A Sangeet is choreographed and performed, usually with a defined running order and a seated audience between numbers. A DJ night is continuous, informal and much hotter. Is a Kurta Acceptable?
Yes, and it is often the smartest choice. A well-cut silk or cotton-silk kurta with a bundi moves better than any jacket, reads festive, and comes off the dance floor looking considerably better than a suit does. If the evening is billed as Western, a fitted shirt with a removable lightweight jacket is the equivalent answer.

Our published starting prices and typical ranges, plus the usual atelier lead time before the fitting. Every commission is quoted individually at the consultation, because cloth, construction and the hours of hand embroidery move the figure more than anything else. Unstitched silks such as a veshti, panche or mundu are not included.

Every garment is drafted from roughly 20 to 25 of your own measurements and cut from our own fabric library. One fitting is standard before the garment is finished, and alterations are covered for one month after delivery or until the garment has been worn, whichever comes first.
