The Short Answer
Send us the wedding date, the function, how many people, and a reference photo. We suggest one colour family and silhouette for the group, take each person’s measurements (in the atelier or remotely), and quote the whole group together. Start two to three months before the wedding so every member has time for a fitting.
How a Group Order Works
- Share the brief on WhatsApp: date, function, group size, budget and any reference photos.
- Agree the look: one colour family and silhouette for the group, and a distinct look for the groom.
- Measurements for everyone: members in Bengaluru visit the atelier; others measure at home using our measuring guide or join a video call.
- Fabric and fittings: the group’s fabric is chosen together so the shades match, then each person has a fitting.
- Delivery: outfits are finished and handed over together, or shipped to members outside Bengaluru.
What Works for Each Function
| Function | Group outfit | How the groom stands apart |
|---|---|---|
| Haldi / Mehendi | Cotton or light silk kurtas in one pastel or yellow family | A brighter shade or an embroidered Nehru jacket |
| Baraat | Coordinated kurtas with matching dupattas or safas | Sherwani with a richer safa |
| Sangeet | Kurta with Nehru jackets in one colour, or Indo-Western jackets | A more embellished jacket in a deeper tone |
| Wedding ceremony | Kurta sets or bandhgalas in a quieter shade | The ceremonial sherwani |
| Reception | Two-piece suits or bandhgalas in one colour | Three-piece suit, tuxedo or velvet bandhgala |
Dressing Different Ages and Builds
A group spans everyone from a ten-year-old page boy to the groom’s father. Because each outfit is patterned individually, the cut can change while the colour and fabric stay shared: a longer kurta for a taller brother, a softer construction for an older relative who will sit through long rituals, and a comfortable, easy-to-move cut for kids. We make children’s outfits too, so nephews, page boys and the couple’s own sons can match the set.
Members in Other Cities or Abroad
Groups are rarely all in Bengaluru. Members elsewhere in India or abroad can send measurements and join a remote consultation; outfits are shipped to them, and anyone who reaches Bengaluru before the wedding can still come in for a final fitting.

Our published starting prices and typical ranges, plus the usual atelier lead time before the fitting. Every commission is quoted individually at the consultation, because cloth, construction and the hours of hand embroidery move the figure more than anything else. Unstitched silks such as a veshti, panche or mundu are not included.
Group orders are quoted per group once the look and fabric are agreed. Need it sooner? Our Express service offers same-day, next-day or 2-day delivery, subject to fabric availability and design.
