Why Crew Get Tailoring Done in Bangalore
Crew wear formal clothes through long duty days, so fit matters: a collar that cuts in or trousers that pull when seated for hours get noticed fast. A pattern cut from your own measurements fixes that, and in Bengaluru it costs a fraction of what made-to-measure work costs in most home bases.
At the Basavanagudi atelier, custom shirts run ₹3,500 – ₹8,500, trousers ₹3,500 – ₹12,000 and suits ₹15,000 – ₹55,000+, depending on cloth and construction.
How a Layover Order Works
- Message before you land. WhatsApp your arrival and departure times, hotel and what you want made. We confirm what fits your window.
- Hotel or atelier measurement. We can measure you at your hotel, or you visit the Basavanagudi atelier to see more cloth. Either way, 20 to 25 measurements are taken, including shoulder slope and posture, and you choose cloth, collar, cuffs and buttons.
- Hotel delivery. Finished garments are delivered to your hotel in Bengaluru. Express turnaround is same-day, next-day or 2-day, subject to fabric availability and design (how Express Bespoke works).
- Re-order next time. Your pattern stays on file, so later rotations start with a WhatsApp message.
If a piece cannot be finished before you fly out, we can ship it insured and tracked to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Germany, the US, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia or Australia.

What Crew Order Most
- Shirts: the quickest order and the best fit for a short layover (custom shirts).
- Formal trousers: cut for long hours seated, with side adjusters if you prefer no belt (custom trousers).
- Suits and blazers: travel-friendly wools for work, events or a wedding back home (formal suits, suit collection).
For Women Crew and Pilots
Women crew order power blazers, suits, pantsuits and tailored trousers (cigarette, straight or wide-leg), cut from their own measurements with darting and waist shaping rather than a resized men's pattern. Women's suits run ₹15,000 – ₹65,000+, and the layover process is the same: measurement at your hotel or the atelier, then hotel delivery. See women's suits.
Practical Notes
- Payment is by UPI or cash. Cards are not accepted.
- Parking is available near the atelier.
- Book the measurement early in the layover; the earlier you are measured, the more the Express window can cover.
