Groom Wardrobe Planner and Budget Calculator
A wedding is a sequence of functions, not a single outfit. Choose your tradition to see what grooms usually wear to each ritual, pick the garments you want made, and get an indicative budget from our Basavanagudi studio’s price guide. When the plan looks right, send it to us on WhatsApp to start a consultation.
Based on our Complete groom wear guide for Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Families differ, so treat this as a starting point.
Mid-range sits between our lowest and highest typical figure for each garment. Cloth and the hours of hand embroidery move the price more than anything else.

Haldi and pre-wedding rituals
Usually worn: A light cotton or cotton-silk kurta in a festive colour. Turmeric and water are part of many haldi celebrations, so choose something washable. Outfit ideas

An estimate, not a quote. Every garment is priced after a consultation, because cloth, construction and hand embroidery move the figure most. Unstitched silks such as a panche, veshti or mundu are not included. Start three to four months before the wedding; if the date is close, Express tailoring offers same-day, next-day or 2-day delivery, subject to fabric availability and design.
How to Use the Plan
Decide the ceremony garment first and work outwards. A sherwani for the wedding usually means a bandhgala or tuxedo for the reception and kurta sets for the daytime functions, so each look is distinct in the album. For colour pairings with the bride’s outfit, read our groom dress colour guide, and for a full breakdown of what moves the price, our guide to bespoke sherwani and suit costs in Bangalore.
Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is the budget estimate?
It is an estimate, not a quote. Pick one of three levels and the planner prices every garment at that level: Simple uses our starting figure (sherwanis from ₹15,000, suits from ₹12,000), Mid-range sits midway between our lowest and highest typical figure, and Heavily detailed uses the top of the range. Every garment is priced properly after a consultation, because cloth, construction and the hours of hand embroidery move the figure most. Unstitched silks such as a panche, veshti or mundu are not included.
How early should a groom start planning his wedding outfits?
Start three to four months before the wedding. Hand-embroidered sherwanis and silk kurtas typically take four to eight weeks and suits and tuxedos about two to three weeks, with fittings on top. If the date is close, Express tailoring offers same-day, next-day or 2-day delivery, subject to fabric availability and design.
Which wedding traditions does the planner cover?
Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Kerala Hindu, Kerala Christian, Muslim Nikah and North Indian weddings. The functions and outfits follow our published guides, but every family holds its rituals a little differently, so use the plan as a starting point for your consultation.
Can I use the plan if I live outside Bengaluru or abroad?
Yes. Send the plan on WhatsApp and we will set up a video consultation. Grooms outside India can start through our NRI and remote consultation service, with fittings timed to a trip to Bengaluru.
Planning From Abroad or in a Hurry?
Grooms outside Bengaluru can start with our NRI and remote consultation service. If the date is close, see Express tailoring, or book a consultation at the studio.
