What Is the Baraat Outfit Actually For?
It is the only garment of the wedding designed to be read from forty feet away, in motion, in a crowd. The photographs are wide, the light is often harsh, and you will be dancing in it before you arrive. That makes silhouette and structure matter far more than fine detail, which simply disappears at that distance.

Bandhgala or Sherwani?
Both hold their shape through the entrance, which is the main requirement. A Jodhpuri bandhgala reads sharper and moves better, and it carries into later functions more easily. A sherwani reads more ceremonial and pairs more naturally with a safa and stole. If the Baraat and the ceremony are the same day, make sure the two garments are distinguishable in photographs.
Can You Ride a Horse in It?
Yes, if it is cut for it. Mounting is the test: the garment needs enough room through the seat and a vent or side slits that do not strain, and the length has to sit correctly once you are seated rather than only while standing. Tell us at the consultation if you are riding, because it changes the pattern. Footwear should have a low, smooth sole rather than a heavy tread.

Our published starting prices and typical ranges, plus the usual atelier lead time before the fitting. Every commission is quoted individually at the consultation, because cloth, construction and the hours of hand embroidery move the figure more than anything else. Unstitched silks such as a veshti, panche or mundu are not included.

Commission the Outfit
Every garment is drafted from roughly 20 to 25 of your own measurements and cut from our own fabric library. One fitting is standard before the garment is finished, and alterations are covered for one month after delivery or until the garment has been worn, whichever comes first.
