The Atelier
Beyond embroidery, some of our most distinctive pieces are hand-painted rather than stitched, original artwork applied directly to the fabric of a tailored blazer or jacket. At Chirag Parmar Signatures in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, this is a specialty for grooms and guests who want a genuinely one-of-a-kind statement piece.
Floral motifs on an ivory or pastel blazer are our most requested hand-painted look, applied by hand rather than printed, so no two pieces are ever identical. This works well for a reception, a themed pre-wedding party, or any event where the groom wants a garment that reads as art first and formalwear second.
The Process
A direct consultation with founder Chirag Parmar on occasion, silhouette and fabric, with no sales floor handoff.
Choose from pure silk brocade, Super 120s to 150s wool, raw silk, velvet or linen, matched to your occasion.
A pattern drafted from roughly 20 to 25 measurements, including posture points a size chart never captures.
Fittings refine the fit, and embroidery is worked in-house. Most garments are ready in two to eight weeks.
