The Atelier
A blazer is the most-used jacket most men own and the one they most often buy wrong, usually by treating it as a suit jacket worn separately. It is a different garment: softer in the shoulder, cut to work over knitwear as well as a shirt, and built to be seen on its own rather than as half of a matched set. At Chirag Parmar Signatures in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, we cut blazers to be worn hard and often.
For Bengaluru, a navy hopsack blazer is the highest-value single jacket you can commission: the open weave breathes in the city’s warmer months, resists creasing, and moves between office smart-casual and dinner without looking like an orphaned suit jacket. Patch pockets and a softer, lightly padded shoulder are what visually separate a blazer from a suit jacket, so specify them deliberately. For evening and party wear, a textured jacquard, velvet, or a bolder colour reads as intentional in a way a plain black jacket does not.

Choose from pure silk brocade, Super 120s to 150s wool, raw silk, velvet or linen, matched to your occasion.
A pattern drafted from roughly 20 to 25 measurements, including posture points a size chart never captures.
Fittings refine the fit, and embroidery is worked in-house. Most garments are ready in two to eight weeks.
