Diwali is the one festive occasion in the year where nearly every man in the room has made an effort, which makes fit rather than embellishment the thing that stands out. At Chirag Parmar Signatures in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, we design Diwali wear that works across the whole run of the festival: a temple visit in the morning, family lunch, and a party the same evening.
Warm jewel tones, deep maroon, burnt orange, and gold-threaded ivory, catch diya and candle light in a way cool tones do not, which is exactly why they have stayed the Diwali standard. A solid silk kurta with a mandarin collar handles the daytime rituals, and adding a structured Nehru jacket converts the same kurta into evening party wear without a full change. For men who prefer Western wear at Diwali parties, a textured blazer over a plain dark shirt is a cleaner choice than a full suit.
The Process

Choose from pure silk brocade, Super 120s to 150s wool, raw silk, velvet or linen, matched to your occasion.
A pattern drafted from roughly 20 to 25 measurements, including posture points a size chart never captures.
Fittings refine the fit, and embroidery is worked in-house. Most garments are ready in two to eight weeks.
