An evening Indo-Western look in taupe: a long, open-front jacket covered in silver chevron sequin embroidery, worn over a matching closed-collar kurta with dark buttons, a draped stole falling from the shoulder, and straight taupe trousers. It was photographed at an outdoor evening celebration and first published on the brand’s Instagram in June 2025.

Design & Construction

Chevron embroidery is unforgiving: if the lines break at a seam, the geometry falls apart. On a jacket like this, the embroidery layout has to be planned with the pattern pieces so the zigzag runs cleanly across the front. The inner kurta stays plain and structured, so the embellished jacket can be worn open without the outfit looking unfinished.

Styling Notes

Silver on taupe gives the sparkle of a sequinned jacket in a muted, grown-up palette that sits well beside a champagne and gold bridal outfit. The drape adds movement and a long vertical line, and black loafers keep the base of the look sharp.
